I have seen almost every doctor at CORE and each and every one has had my best interests in mind. They have helped me to feel my best physically, mentally and emotionally. This place has really made a difference in our lives. My 7 year old daughter was having back pain and I was worried about finding a chiropractor who would treat her like a kid and not like an adult. I honestly cannot say enough good things about all the chiropractors here. They are absolutely top notch (and I really do think that I've seen them all)! Their goal is to fix your ills so that you don't have to constantly go back. They've worked on my back, neck, and even hips.  In fact, it was while pregnant with excruciating hip pain that I first located them.  I am so trustful of them that I've made my husband and 7 year old believers, too!  The front office staff is amazing, the chiropractors are very accommodating and effective, and the masseuse unbelievable. - AA

The most accurate word I can describe after one visit to Dr. Matt is “shocking.”  How can I possible look in the mirror and actually see pain in my eyes prior to the appointment and then leave CORE with my back pain gone?  The tightness left shortly after the pain disappeared as I followed the minimal exercises Dr. Matt recommended. Dr.Melissa saved my nursing relationship with my daughter.  She had a lip/tongue tie corrected and still wasn't latching correctly.  Over the course of a few weeks, Dr. Melissa helped tremendously and now my daughter and I are off to a great start nursing! I was also having a lot of issues post partum, so I saw Dr. Jason for applied kinesiology to get to the root of my problems.  He was patient and made me feel very comfortable talking about what was going on . He has helped me get on track! I had been to countless doctors, but it wasn't until I met Dr. Melissa and Dr. Jason that I felt heard and now I'm finally getting my life back! Harvey and I working with you is absolutely bershert. When I thought my only alternative would be surgery, you showed me I was wrong. When the ER put Harvey on crutches and never got to the root of his problem you did and corrected it. This meant she was dependent on a daily inhaler and occasional steroids when it became out of control. On top of the asthma, Haylie has weak eye muscles. She was diagnosed with amblyopia (right eye turns in) at the age of 17 months and given corrective lenses. After 9 months of glasses, the right eye continued to noticeably turn in. By the time Haylie was 3 ½ , I was at the end of my rope with all the different doctors that were not working and all the prescription drugs they were continuing to shove down her throat. They were treating her symptoms and never really bothered to find her core problem. As a result, her eyes were not improving and her asthma was getting worse. Then, I was referred to Core Therapies. During Haylie's first appointment, I was assured by Dr. Melissa that I came to the right place. Both she and Dr. Jason believe strongly in finding the root of a medical condition and in treating the source not symptoms. I am thrilled to say that Dr. Melissa and Dr. Jason have achieved my dream; Haylie is asthma medication free and has been for 8 months and counting. As for her eye, it has come a long way. Large, fabulous, all-inclusive practice. Besides the chiropractors who do active release, among other various therapies, there is also yoga, acupuncture, nutrition, and body work. All are top notch, support staff is just as amazing. This is more than just Chiro. You won't be disappointed!! - AZ

I've been going to Dr. Matt McGowan for a few years now. As an avid Crossfitter, I put my body through the rigors on a daily basis. Dr. Matt has helped me through neck stiffness, shoulder issues, knee issues and low back tightness. He even gives me homework to do on my own to strengthen weak areas. Great staff and Very welcoming! He is truly a genius in his knowledge of the human musculature system and has been an invaluable help to me for various medical issues. Throughout the years, I’ve suffered back, neck and shoulder pain.  The injuries were sometimes unbearable and often crippling. I’ve tried everything including “typical” chiropractic adjustments, PT, stretching, foam rolling, deep tissue massage strength training, rest and, as a last resort, steroids. Dr. Meagan suggested that my pain stemmed from my neck to the traps and down.  It also moves up from my lats to the shoulder due mostly to overuse and tightness. Apparently, all the surrounding areas were compensating for the tendons in my shoulder. Her treatment would use Active Release Techniques (ART) twice weekly for three weeks. She provided me with stretching and rolling exercises to work in tandem with the ART. After years of pain, numb arms, no sleep and avoiding countless recommendations for surgery, I’m amazed. I am now totally pain free…not just better.  For the first time in years, it does not hurt! - C.A.
